Cookie Policy
Script Reader uses one cookie, the one that keeps you signed in. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner.

1. The cookie we set
| Name | Purpose | Lasts | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| reader_session | Keeps you signed in. It holds a random token and nothing else; it is set only when you sign in, and it can't be read by scripts on the page. | 30 days, or until you sign out | Strictly necessary |
A strictly necessary cookie is one the Service can't work without, so it doesn't need consent under privacy law. It isn't used for tracking or shared with anyone.
2. What we don’t use
No analytics cookies: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without following you to other sites. No advertising or social-media cookies, including from sponsors: a sponsor's card is plain text served by this site. No local or session storage in your browser. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting anything that isn't strictly necessary.
3. Other companies
When you pay, you leave this site for Stripe's checkout page, where Stripe sets its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud, under Stripe's cookie policy. Actor headshots in reports load from TMDB's image servers, which see your IP address the way any website does, under TMDB's own policies.
4. Your control
You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block reader_session, you won't be able to stay signed in, but the public pages still work. Signing out deletes it.
